The wines of the Manuel Aragón Winery triumph at the I Wine Fair of the Bay of Cádiz

The island arena became the epicenter of the fruit of the vine from March 24 to 27, when the “I Fino Fair in San Fernando” called Vino Bahía; an exhibition fair dedicated to the world of wine, organized by the company Albero Eventos, which has been developed with great success in that place such as the La Isla bullring, whose manager is the well-known businessman Pedro Postigo, who has transformed the referred to arena in a hospitality space that has been called “La Plaza”.

This event, which according to the organization was born with a spirit of continuity, had an extensive and extensive program of activities that took place in different areas of these facilities, such as the arena itself, the Patio de Cuadrillas or the “Las Caballeriza” Hall, among others.

In this event, the wines from Manuel Aragón winery, directed by Chano Aragón, owner and winemaker of the Manuel Aragón winery, from Chiclana, presented some of the wines that are made in our winery such as the sauvignon blanc labeled with the brand “La Batalla de la Barrosa”, a red wine, named “Campano< /b>” made with the variety of Tempranillo and Syrah, another white wine, in this case the semi dry “Señorío de Galdón” and the already famous artisan vermouth  by “Manuel Aragón” which is made in this winery in a completely artisanal way.

Four wines that belong to the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Wines of Cádiz, which do not belong to the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Sherry and Manzanilla Wines, and which were the object of the tasting. Chano Aragón explained in a didactic and entertaining way the characteristics of each of these four wines.

But although the main protagonist was the wine, you could also enjoy different traditional tapas from the kitchens that this seaside region offers, such as the shrimp tortillas or the traditional chicharrones , among other delicacies.
